N4570C USA Aircraft Registration Details

bought 4570C from an owner in the midwest in 1967, and kept it in southern Wisconsin for a few months before flying it to Wheeling, WV. In the fall of '67, my wife and I accompanied by a Siberian husky sled dog flew the plane to Alaska and a small Indian village on the Koyukuk River in the northern interior of the state. I operated the plane on 850 tires and straight skis covering a great deal of the northern Alaska bush. In 1969, I sold the plane to a friend in Fairbanks, so that I could pick up a Citabria with floats.

70C was a good bird for me. It saw lots of backcountry bush flying including dropping emergency supplies to stranded people, search & rescue, emergency medical evacuations and simply just fun exploring the wilds. Hope someone is still enjoying it as much as I did.
